Churches should start record labels to push gospel talents – Kwesi Ernest

Kwesi Ernest, CEO of Media Excel, has charged the Ghanaian church community, especially the Church of Pentecost, to set up record labels to push talents in their congregations.

“Churches need to own their record label to push the artists in their respective congregations. It is long overdue, especially the Church of Pentecost.”

Churches should start record labels to push gospel talents – Kwesi Ernest

He told Larry ‘Da Oldman’ on Onua FM’s Anigye mmere show.

Clarifying his statement, Dr Kwesi Ernest indicated, “For the church to have control over the artiste and instil discipline, moral upbringing, fear of God, and train them, they must start investing in them. So that they can tell them to produce spirit-filled songs that draw people closer to heaven.”

“It is the church that produces musicians. A large number of the musicians are from the church. Any musician will confess that they are from either Pentecost, Presby, or the Methodist Church. However, they are left to fend for themselves. After making it on their own, they do whatever they want.”

Kwesi Ernest cited examples for his argument that Christ Embassy has produced top African gospel music via their in-house record label.

“Pastor Chris’s Christ Embassy is one of the successful churches with a record label, and it’s doing well globally. As I’m talking to you now, Christ Embassy can boast of the top ten Nigerian gospel giants doing well on the African continent. The label has yielded results because the likes of Sinach, Eben, and Preye Odede all got solid support from there.”

“And they have their own awards scheme in the church that rewards hardworking acts in the congregation. They crown their new artists and the artists of the year with handsome rewards. Sinach cannot demand money from her church for performances because the kind of wealth she gets from the church is enormous,” Kwesi Ernest concluded.

The leader of BHIM Nation, Stonebwoy’s response to ‘times are hard’ is that people should manage their expenditures and ambitions. Otherwise, they will become frustrated. He also advised that people should practice gratitude to lessen the pressure.

“It’s really not easy. Someone like me, I’m inside the street proper. I always have to have a denomination that I can actually distribute. As if it were an obligation. So I feel it. I know how it goes. Even people at the top don’t have it easy. So, how much more people on the ground?

“All I can say is that we have to be realistic with our expenditures and ambitions, else you will be frustrated. Above all, we should be thankful we have life because no matter how tough it gets, God always makes a way at the end of the day,” Stonebowy details on NewDay.

Stonebwoy also preached about lending help to others in need as he discloses managing his expenditures, including meals.

“Some people can’t even find a meal a day. They go every other day. So, if you cross people like this, and it’s genuine, you can do your best. My formation is once a day. So, I haven’t eaten. I will probably eat at 6 pm.”

RED: Akosua Moon Goddess aka Mami Wata daughter lands in serious trouble (VIDEO)

TikTok witch doctor-cum-fortune teller known on the social media app as Akosua Moon Goddess has found herself in serious trouble after her attack on some media personalities including Ghpage Tv’s Abena Gold and Rashad.

The self-acclaimed daughter of Mami Wata in one of her TikTok videos angrily slammed the presenter for granting an interview with a man of God identified as Prophet Jeremiah who spoke on the topic “The Spirit of Lies”.

According to her, Abena Gold had no reason to bring on the prophet to spew lies about her. She also went ahead to do a full reading on the presenter and made some wild allegations against the presenter.

After she was done with the reading, she called on Abena to confirm or deny the reading otherwise she wouldn’t be able to stay in the country with her.

Ghpage TV’s Rashad who also took a stray bullet has responded to her questioning her on why she decided to attack Abena Gold instead of the man of God who rather made the claims against her.

According to him, he has watched the video several times and still doesn’t get an understanding of what she is saying or trying to say.

He continued that he knows very well, that what she is doing is just to deceive people and make money.

Rashad advised that it’s high time she desists from attacking people since maybe she might not get it easy when she attacks the wrong person one day.

Check Out: KKD exposes how ‘married’ Paul Adom-Otchere attended his event with a side chick

Ace Ghanaian broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, popularly known as KKD, has dropped a bombshell on Paul Adom-Otchere, exposing some dark sides of the broadcast journalist after attacking him over his criticism of government.

KKD had lamented on GTV about the hardship that has bedevilled citizens owing to actions of the country’s leaders that seek to only enrich themselves and their families, citing that Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was profiting from Ghana’s indebtedness through Databank.

Paul Adom-Otchere, who acts as the mouthpiece of his paymasters, defended the government and chided KKD over what he termed as jealous remarks.

On Onua TV’s morning show “Maakye”, host Captain Smart asked KKD how he felt about Paul’s clapback on his Good Evening Ghana show to which he responded that he considered the Metro TV presenter as a younger brother and wasn’t interested in trading insults with him.

“How did you feel about Paul Adom-Otchere’s critique?” host Captain Smart asked, to which KKD answered, “Paul is my small brother, so I will not say anything bad against him; whatever he has said, I forgive him. I won’t badmouth him.”

He recounted an instance where he did Paul a favour that benefited his concubine.

He said: “Do you remember the day you expressed interest in attending some of the programmes I used to organize programmes at Movenpick? I reserved seats for you and your concubine even though the place was fully packed.”

“So, don’t do that. Maybe the lady wasn’t your concubine but she was all over the place; you should have told her you’re a married man so she should stop the flirty gestures in public. Some of these ladies may be with you because they’re poor. Your wife is my little sister; that’s my ex, Nana Yaa’s friend, so I know her very well.”
