Stop claiming you don’t know me, I’m larger than you – Ras Kuuku combats Joe Mettle

Kojo Kurankye, a reggae dancehall performer also known as Ras Kuuku in the entertainment industry, has claimed to be greater than gospel performer Joe Mettle.

The gospel celebrity and the dancehall performer have been at each other’s throats for some time. Ras Kuuku fiercely opposed Joe Mettle’s VGMA candidacy and eventual Artiste of the Year award, which is how this “feud” got started. Joe Mettle responded by saying that prior to the “lost prize” controversy, he had never heard of Ras Kuuku.

Ras Kuuku spoke with Christian Agyei Frimpong in an exclusive interview for the Anigye mmere entertainment program on Onua FM.

Joe Mettle can confirm that I am superior to him musically. I have a stronger voice and a more mature manner than he does. I can’t claim that Joe Mettle is superior to me. How? why?”

The self-acclaim youth president explained why he and the gospel juggernaut were at odds.

“Did you know that his Artiste of the Year prize was contested? I thus thought that if his work could win him a nomination in the top category again this year, then don’t we deserve to be there as well? I didn’t do much more than question the procedure.

“He punched me because he didn’t like what I said. That, I assumed, was all. However, he went on interviews and advertised his event using my name, he said.

“I was quite astonished to hear him declare he didn’t know me,” Ras Kuuku said. He has the option of declining such inquiry. But he chose that route because he wanted to utilize my picture to advertise his event, and we also provided the buzz.

“I don’t understand why he would claim that I had lost my accolades. How is this even possible? He need to assist me in finding the prizes if he knows where they are. I’ve always insisted that my awards are still present.

33 and 1 is a brand-new song by Ras Kuuku.
